Job Description Under the supervision of the Executive Director and consistent with the Christian mission of the YMCA, the Property Director II will provide leadership to the overall operation of the mechanical, housekeeping, and life safety systems of the Harrisburg YMCA and other locations as needed , including preventative and routine maintenance, fire safety, security systems. The Property Director II will ensure the building has the required operating certifications and recordkeeping as mandated by codes. Qualifications Know-How:

High school diploma or equivalent. Degree in related field or experience in facility management/trades fields a plus. Certifications/license in HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical desired. Must be attentive to details, be able to work with and meet deadlines, take initiative to develop and provide information and controls necessary for efficient operations. Must have excellent human relation, written and oral communication skills. Must be able to take initiative in making decisions and solving problems and work independently with little supervision. Organizational, time management and problem resolution abilities. Display a personal commitment to program development and quality member service.

R.O.S.T.E.R.

(Recruit, Orient, Supervise, Train, Evaluate and Reward) all housekeeping and maintenance staff. Develop all schedules and maintain communication of such with all appropriate staff. Assist in completing assigned tasks in a timely manner and prioritizing maintenance needs if necessary for major projects with the help of the Branch Executive Director. Ensures that our facility and grounds are kept clean, safe and in proper working order. Follow Risk and Safety guidelines as directed by our VP of Risk and Safety. Responsible for reporting risk situations and providing leadership when necessary. Work on a variety of projects that strengthen the organization and ensure building operations and safety are a priority. Must have understanding of minor construction with ability to work with power tools, experience painting, plumbing, electrical and HVAC knowledge and overall handy man work. Completes projects in a conscientious, timely manner, within the allotted budget and time as scheduled by supervisor. Advises management on status of project if a concern arises and/or the project gets delayed. Ensures that all tools/equipment are maintained and properly operated in accordance with the policies and procedures of the YMCA and OSHA. Attend all staff meetings and complete all required YMCA trainings within the time allotted. Engage with members, participants, and parents to build strong relationship towards the advancement of the Y mission. Responsible for reporting risk situations and providing leadership if deemed necessary by supervisor.
