From initial assessment to customized aftercare, McLeod Centers provides compassionate, steadfast support for our patients’ journey to recovery. We are looking for passionate people to join our team! McLeod Centers for Wellbeing is currently searching for a Full-time Behavioral Health Specialist to work in our substance use residential treatment program in Charlotte, NC. All BHS staff will be scheduled for 12-hour shifts, starting at 7 am or 7 pm. How will you help us achieve our mission?: You’ll care for our residential clients by monitoring them during breaks between groups and activities You’ll help them in adhering to their daily schedules You’ll also assist in bringing clients into and out of the treatment program, ensuring rooms are clean and prepped, and reviewing their belongings What are the qualifications needed for this role? We’re looking for candidates with a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, though a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Applicants should also have at least 1 year of relevant experience working in a residential treatment facility for substance use disorders.
