Summary:

Responsible for providing support and care to meet the physical and psychological needs of consumers through providing direct and indirect care in PSR setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Provides supervision, recovery skills interventions and monitoring of each consumer. Assist with and model appropriate daily living skills Document treatment progress of consumers which reflect treatment goals; document any reported or observed symptoms of consumers and report to the team. Participate in treatment team Provide Transportation Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Strong interpersonal skills and belief in consumer’s ability to recovery. Minimal supervision regarding use of time, able to prioritize work assignments. Ability to communicate effectively with professionals and clients/families. Ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations. A desire to work with individuals with severe persistent mental illness and substance abuse issues. Education and/or

Experience:

High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent (Mandatory), AA degree and 2 years’ experience or a BS or BA degree and 1 year experience (Preferred). Must be 18 years of age and proficient in reading, speaking and writing.
