About Crotched Mountain School:

Crotched Mountain School (CMS), a program of Seven Hills New Hampshire, hosts innovative special education, recreation, arts, music, and vocational programming for students, aged 5-21, who are on the autism spectrum, and/or have disabilities and other challenges that are better supported in an alternative, least-restrictive environment to their local public school system. Students have the option to live year-round in the appointed residences on the sprawling campus located in Greenfield, New Hampshire. Situated on thousands of acres of preserved habitat, CMS offers a therapeutic environment in which students are encouraged to explore and thrive. Student Loan Assistance, Discounted Tuition, Tuition Assistance Vacation Time (3 weeks ), Personal Days (3), Paid Holidays & Accrued Sick Time Residential Counselor Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Align student education and residential services with IEP and ILP plans. Assist residents with residential programs and daily routines. Complete required record-keeping, data collection, and documentation. Select and supervise activities suited to each resident’s capabilities. Attend program and behavior meetings, orientation, and training sessions. Perform household chores, with or without student assistance. Ensure residents are dressed appropriately, respecting their rights and dignity.

Hours:

Residential Counselors work on a 4-day work week. There are 2 shifts to choose from and there is a potential for overtime.

Front End:

Sunday 7:00 am•10:00 pm, Monday-Wednesday 2:00 pm•10:00 pm

Back End:

Wednesday-Friday 2:00 pm•10:00 pm, and Saturday 2:00 pm•10:00 pm

Qualifications:

Must be 21+ High school diploma or equivalent
