Hours:
3:00pm-12:00am – 40hours per week -p rime shift The Senior Residential Advisor isresponsible for working with Residential team to provide studentson respective dormitory with a safe, clean and structured livingenvironment that fosters student retention, satisfaction,achievement and success. The Senior Residential Adviser overseerespective dorm area and uses proper judgment and discretion toresolve student and staff issues and concerns. As a LeadResidential Advisor, provides mentoring, support and guidance toResidential Advisor staff. Provides individualized student casemanagement to maintain student enrollment and success in theprogram. $500 Sign

What You’ll Do:
Supervise andcoordinate center activities to ensure a safe, structured, andsupportive student environment. Lead a team of staff members topromote positive student behavior and engagement. Monitor campussafety, respond to incidents, and enforce policies. Providementorship and guidance to students, helping them develop life andcareer skills. Work collaboratively with different departments tomaintain a productive and goal-oriented atmosphere.

MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISION
Supervisesresidential staff as directed and may serve as the ActingResidential/Dorm Supervisor in his/her absence. RESPONSIBILITIESinclude but are not limited to: Follows all integrity guidelinesand procedures and ensures no manipulation of student data.
Maintains a safe and clean dorm environment. o Provides qualitysupervision to students in the dormitory. o Ensures the accuracyand completeness of incident and shift reports. o Ensures thephysical security of the dorm area and reports concerns to dormsupervisor. Maintains adequate levels of inventory per establisheddepartment reorder points and proactively orders supplies to meetdepartment requirement. Active member on case management andsuccess teams to ensure student success in the program. Initiateswork orders to make necessary repairs as required and follows-upwith maintenance to ensure completion. Provides transportation asrequired. In the absence of the Residential/Dorm Supervisor, willbe responsible to coordinate staff coverage to ensure student areasare supervised and that staff adhere to rest and meal breakrequirements. Motivates and manages staff to work effectively,creates a supportive work environment and recognizes staffaccomplishments. Produces quality work/assignments in a thorough,timely and accurate manner. o Maintains appropriate personalattendance, accountability and work productivity standards. oPlans, prioritizes and organizes assignments to meet establishedgoals and deadlines. Understands and applies job knowledge toeffectively complete all required job responsibilities. Proactivelymaintains the skills required to perform job duties. Mentors,monitors and models the Career Success Standards as required by thePRH. Provides high-quality supervision and management for thestudent population and positively influences student behavior.
Shows respect and courtesy to students and holds them accountablefor their actions and behavior. Provides timely operational supportfor Center operations to ensure quality programs and services.
Pursues improvement in Center operations to fulfill programobjectives.
Communication:
Exchanges ideas and information, bothorally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner andcontributes meaningfully to group efforts by offering relevantideas and knowledge. Provides quality and timely information toDOL/Company when requested. Effectively articulates thoughts andideas. Identifies problems, analyzes causes and evaluatesappropriate solutions prior to taking or recommending actions.
Follows up to ensure prompt/appropriate action is taken and thatproblems are in fact corrected. Works in partnership with stafffrom all Departments to ensure effective supervision and servicesare provided to students. Accepts direction and supervision fromthe Center Director/Center Duty Officer/Shift Manager to includeassignments to temporarily perform job responsibilities of otherdepartments and positions. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalentrequired. Advanced degrees preferred. A minimum of one year JobCorps or related program experience required. A valid in-StateDrivers License preferred. Physical requirements include sitting,standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing,carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching.
