We provide basic nursing care, skilled nursing and end of life care. We are located in Valatie NY. This is a part time 3pm-11pm shift. This position requires every other weekend with 1-2 days during the weekday. Very low patient to Resident assistant ratio. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to residents in a group home or long-term care setting, ensuring their daily needs are met with dignity and respect. Your responsibilities will include assisting with personal care, and engaging residents in meaningful activities to enhance their quality of life. The ideal candidate will have experience in home care or senior care and possess strong interpersonal skills. Responsibilities Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Implement behavior management techniques to support residents with various needs. Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties. Engage residents in social activities and encourage participation to promote mental and emotional well-being. Communicate effectively with team members, families, and healthcare professionals regarding resident care plans. Experience Previous experience in home care, nursing homes, or group home settings is preferred but not required. Ability to lift and assist residents as needed while ensuring their safety and comfort. Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to caregiving are essential.
