What You’ll Do:
Actively lead and engage a group of 15-20 children in activities, inside and outside. Set up and transform program spaces into child-friendly environments and ensure cleanliness. Help plan and implement a quality curriculum aligned with YMCA guidelines. Build positive relationships with YMCA staff, school personnel, and families. Ensure site licensing and quality standards are maintained.
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum age: 18 High school diploma or equivalent required. Enthusiastic, organized, and team-oriented individuals with a passion for youth development. Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills with the ability to multitask.
Certifications Required:
Before your first shift : Orientation, DHS Background Check, Fingerprinting, Abuse Registry Check, health forms, training sessions, and references. Within 30 days of hire : CPR/First Aid/AED (Infant/Pediatric).
