  • Position Overview:
  • As a neurodiverse Life Coach, you will work directly with individuals who have developmental disabilities, cognitive challenges, or other special needs.

Your role will be to help clients build essential life skills, achieve personal milestones, and enhance their overall quality of life. This includes supporting them in areas such as daily living, communication, social interaction, and vocational goals.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement personalized coaching plans based on each client’s unique needs, goals, and abilities.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching to assist clients in building life skills such as time management, budgeting, personal care, and social skills.
  • Support clients in navigating daily challenges, offering guidance and encouragement to foster independence.
  • Collaborate with family members, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive support network for the client.
  • Monitor and track clients’ progress, adjusting coaching strategies as needed to ensure positive outcomes.
  • Assist clients in setting and achieving short-term and long-term goals.
  • Advocate for clients’ needs and rights, ensuring they receive the necessary support and resources.
  • Maintain detailed records of sessions, progress, and any incidents, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to company policies.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, education, or a related field (required).
  • Life coaching certification ( preferred)
  • Experience working with individuals with special needs or developmental disabilities.
  • Strong understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with special needs and a passion for helping them overcome these challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required for home visits.
