At Bedrock Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Orlando South, we are committed to delivering high-quality care and support to our residents and their families. We are currently seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Social Worker Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis.

Position Overview:

The Social Worker Assistant plays a key role in supporting the Director of Social Services. This includes managing clerical duties, maintaining documentation, coordinating with families, and assisting residents with social, emotional, and care-related needs. The ideal candidate will be organized, empathetic, and have excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain organized and updated department records Assist residents and families in accessing community and government resources Support care plan meetings and discharge planning Conduct admission assessments for new residents Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for resident support Handle incoming calls, emails, and daily communications Send out care plan invitations and maintain discharge calendars Assist with Utilization Review tracking and documentation

Qualifications:

A minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Teams) CPR certification and First Aid training Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong organizational and documentation abilities Why Join Us?
