Job Title:

Activities Assistant Part-time evenings and one weekend day We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Activities Assistant to join our Memory Care Department team. As an Activities Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning, organizing, and implementation of activities for our residents with memory impairments.

Responsibilities:

Assist in planning and implementing daily activities for residents with memory impairments Encourage resident participation in activities and events Assist in setting up and cleaning up activity areas Maintain accurate records of resident participation in activities Provide one-on-one support to residents who may need additional assistance Communicate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and effective activity program

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent Experience working with individuals with memory impairments preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compassionate and patient demeanor Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with memory impairments and have the skills and qualifications we are looking for, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity to join our team as an Activities Assistant.
