Role of Case Support Worker (CSW) and
Responsibilities:
Ability to work with youths and provides direct placement services and supervision. Ability to show respect to others. Responsible for ensuring that the educational, medical, emotional and social needs of the child are met. Responsible for ensuring that the foster parent’s needs are met to enable them to care for the child. Assist foster parents and the foster child with the implementation, tracking, and monitoring of the (I. S. P’s) Individualized Service Plans Responsible for completing ECEM Contact/Home face to face Visit and Notes monthly. Responsible for completing General Contact and Notes monthly. Responsible for completing Monthly Summary Reports, ILP Monthly Summary Reports (if applicable) monthly. Ability to document timely in a clear, concise manner. Ability to take guidance and direction from supervisors and director. Ensure 100 percent staff compliance with all OPM and RCCL child visit, service, and documentation. Ensure timely foster parents reporting of critical incidents and significant events in state and agency data reporting systems. Assist Case Support Supervisor (CSS) with GA Score and SHINES by making sure everything is updated timely with no missing or overdue tasks, no missing child visits.
Qualifications:
Case Support Worker must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in the area of behavioral or social sciences, social work, psychology, childhood education, special education, guidance counseling, or related field.
