SAR/Cluster Description of Duties :
The individual in this role will serve as a Direct Service Provider of the Residential Treatment Facility. Direct Support Staff will maintain the safety and security of residents and staff on assigned shift. Staff will respond promptly and professionally to emergencies. Staff will monitor residents’ activities. Staff is responsible for making sure residents adhere to their daily schedules. Meal preparation. Transporting individuals served is a requirement.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Social and/or Human Service-related field. Experience working with individuals with Substance Use Disorder and Mental Health Disorders. Valid, unrestricted Georgia Driver’s License. Must be computer literate and work shifts will include weekends as well.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC), Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor (CADC) or related certification in substance use disorders. Agency is an eligible worksite for the VA Education Benefit Program (Veterans) Agency is an eligible work site for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program .
