Full Time Spurwink is hiring hard-working candidates like you to be Direct Support Recovery Workers at their facility in Portland. This position provides direct services to support a recovery lifestyle of people living in the program. All positions within this classification administer client medications and provide services that support a therapeutic co-occurring milieu. These positions attend weekly program staff meetings and frequently participate in other team meetings as necessary. The Direct Support Recovery Worker position pays $21.50-$22.50 per hour.

DUTIES:
Provides residents with necessary support for aplishing tasks of daily livings.
Assists with all client admissions and discharges.
Assists clients in connecting with any appropriatemunity resources.
Develops and implements structured activities, recreation and/or therapeutic activities or groups for residents, i.e., trips, discussions, games, and activities of daily living as assigned.
Communicates and coordinates with family members/guardians as necessary.
Contributes to quality assurance through maintenance of client records.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent and valid driver’s license required. Must be certified as Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician 1 (MHRT1) within 1 year of employment; then maintain required trainings to uphold continuous MHRT1 status. Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred. 1-2 years of direct care/mental health or relevant life experience preferred. People in recovery or with lived experience are wee to !
