The Center for Family and Child Enrichment (CFCE) is dedicated to helping children and their families by providing the right services and solutions based on individual needs. CFCE is constantly evolving to better support our community. As a Director of Child and Family Services you will oversee, lead, and manage CFCE’s day-to-day program operations on children and family services including service area personnel and department supervision, training, and coaching. This role will also be responsible for the successful planning, development, implementation, and achievement of outcomes and goals as well as the oversight of federal, state, and local regulatory and compliance issues. The Director of Child and Family services will lead the teams of Safety Management Services Program, Home Recruitment and Licensing, Residential Programs, and all child and family services within the organization. The functions of this role will include, but are not limited to: program development, managing metrics and data analyzing, supervising staff and setting strategic priorities to successfully met grant requirements, support services, residential services, prevention services, utilization management, management of community stakeholder relationships, client services, collaborative communication between all CFCE departments and with community partners, managing resources and participation in contract negotiations when needed. The Director will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the successful administration of all child and family services programs, including planning, development, implementation, quality improvement, program compliance, and the alignment of the division’s goals with the organization’s strategic priorities. This includes developing and implementing internal systems for monitoring performance and compliance with program outcomes set by our funders and CFCE to include ensuring that all service areas comply with regulatory standards and continuously improve based on feedback and performance data. Functions Include:

Provide leadership in efforts to seek funding to ensure the sustainability of program quality and progressive advancement; Develop, review, and direct oversight of existing and proposed Child Welfare and Child and Family Contracts through a variety of funding agency’s; Drive strategic planning initiatives and lead the development of new programs based on current and future needs within the child and family services division; Create and implement comprehensive performance management systems for all child and family services, ensuring that the programs meet both quality improvement targets and compliance with funding agency guidelines; Develop and integrate continuous quality improvement (CQI) processes to monitor program effectiveness, including data analysis and regular assessments to meet internal and external requirements; Ensure the effective implementation of strategic plans for Child Welfare and Child and Family Services, linking department goals to organizational strategy and funding requirements; Identify and propose additional funding opportunities for the Child and Family Services Division; Lead a team of professionals to ensure quality of standards, departmental goals, and objectives are met in delivering Child Welfare and Family Services; Develop and maintain a system to effectively communication between department leaders and staff; Create a culture where all staff feel supported and can provide feedback to help build and grow the department; Manage budgets and allocate resources for Child Welfare and Family Services Programs; Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders; Handle high-profile child welfare cases and crisis situations; Participate in investigations, disciplinary actions, and termination of staff as needed and in accordance with company policy and by law;

Minimum Education/Experience:

Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, Public Administration, or related field Ten years of program supervisory and administrative experience in Child Welfare or Child and Family services
