Job Description

Social Services Manager 2.9 2.9 out of 5 stars Miami, FL 33126 Opportunities available for a Social Services Manager to join our Community Medical Group family! The Social Services Manager oversees the customer flow and the daily operations of the ACCESS Center. This position also serves as the key liaison with the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF), oversees outreach initiatives, and enforces company policies across all social service operations. Duties and Responsibilities Provides direct supervision to social services agents, front desk staff, environmental staff, and security guards, including hiring, terminations, reviews, and PTO approvals. Oversees development and improvement of new and existing associates. Exercises independent judgment on operational matters of significant impact. Ensures customers receive timely service and accurate information. Ensures compliance with DCF community partner mandates. Assigns completed ACCESS applications to on-site

staff. Oversees productivity of assigned social services agents. Prepares daily, weekly, and monthly productivity/statistical reports. Submits invoices to Accounts Payable in a timely manner. Reviews incoming mail daily and takes appropriate action. Maintains valid permits and licenses; ensures visible posting as required. Ensures accuracy of data in “ACT” software. Develops and implements internal processes. Responds to on-site client injuries with assistance and proper documentation. Conducts outreach activities as assigned. Identifies and corrects hazardous conditions in common areas. Administers HIPAA training annually or as needed. Distributes health insurance forms and information per HR guidance. Maintains inventory of office supplies. Opens and follows up on IT and Facilities service tickets. Ensures employee conduct aligns with company policies. Administers disciplinary actions and submits documentation to HR. Ensures compliance with all company policies. Maintains HIPAA and OSHA compliance standards. Performs all duties honestly and ethically. Completes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Education/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent and two years of college education, or five years of relevant experience. Previous experience in customer service. One to two years of supervisory experience. Experience with DCF or other government assistance programs preferred . Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel.
