Regional Post Adoption (PAD) Manager position provide oversight and management of IV-E and IV-B Adoption Assistance (PAD) recipient payments and Post Adoptive Services in all DFCS Regions. This position requires a specialized skill set in that persons must be proficient in the SHINES system and understand the behind the scenes and tasks required in several different stages in the SHINES system that eventually effect a PAD stage in the continuum of care and progression of a case. The PAD Manager troubleshoots and resolvesplicated SHINES system errors, which prevents payment from being generated correctly. Candidates must also have a strong background in Social Services policy relating to Foster Care and Adoptions, and Adoption Assistance Regional PAD Managers are generally the subject matter experts and are relied upon to provide training to new and existing DFCS staff. The candidate must be able to interpret and convey State and Federal policies regarding Adoption, Adoption Assistance, and Post Adoption Services. They serve as point of contact and problem solver for adoptive families that are struggling and need services either throughmunity resources and/or contracted services.

I
Under supervision, learns to plan,anize, or manage the activities of social service ormunity programs. Oversees the program oranization’s policies regarding participant involvement, requirements, and benefits.
Job Responsibilities:
Obtaining substantive information from Adoptive parents in order to have current and accurate information relayed to Rev Max for Medicaid reviews & follow up with referrals.
Be proficient in utilizing multiple search criteria including
SHINES, Q
public, CLEAR, GAMMIS & other search resources to assist & locate families.
Ensure accurate IV-E and IV-B Adoption Assistance payments are made to families. POC for Adoptive families to for Special Services Funding and make monthly payments to service providers for services.
Have contact with Adoptive families, DFCS Field Fiscal representatives, County and Regional DFCS staff, Medicaid Eligibility Specialist, State ICAMA consultant, Data Integrity staff, Community Stakeholders, contracted providers to include social service and health programs, Amerigroup and Adoption Assistance Consultants.
Obtaining substantive information from Adoptive parents in order to have current and accurate information relayed to Rev Max for Medicaid reviews & follow up with referrals. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, demonstrate some or all the following education/skills/experience: Bachelor’s degree in a Social Services OR Human Services related field from an accredited college or university.
Knowledge of the SHINES Adoption (ADO) and Post-Adoption (PAD) stages. Extensive knowledge of federal and state adoption laws and policies. Ability to work effectively at multiple levels of theanization and with multiple project teams.
Excellent oral, written, presentation and interpersonalmunication skills strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and/or standard software applications typically used in a corporate office environment standard software application typically used in a corporate office environment.
