Researches, leads, and develops the curriculums and activities for all Kroc Center Camps, Child Watch, After School Services (Kroc Reach, home school program and youth centered events)

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and develop art, music, and education activities. Develop lesson plans, curriculum for Child Watch, Kroc Camps, After School Programs. Manages and trains staff to carry out curriculum, support all child watch related programs. Ensure safety and protection for children and staff implementing National Kroc Standards including Safe from Harm training and CPR training. Collaborate with Marketing to ensure programs marketed timely with local agencies and marketing platforms. What we are looking for in you: Knowledge of Principles and Practices of Child Behavior and Development. Knowledge of early childhood curriculum of Arts, music and education. Four-year degree in related field and three years’ experience supervision and education of youth, school, camp or other programs in Art, music and education. Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. CPR and First Aid Certification, Safe from Harm Certification.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively. Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines and time constraints. Ability to travel to various locations to develop personal relationships with donors. Duties are usually performed seated. Sitting may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of standing or walking. Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting, and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) 5-10% of work time. Work is usually performed in a normal office environment where there is little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
