Summary We are seeking a Director of Social Services to join our team at Colfax Nursing and Rehab. In this pivotal role, you will oversee social service programs, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and support. Your leadership will be essential in enhancing the quality of life for our residents and maintaining our commitment to excellence. Responsibilities Develop and implement social service programs that meet the needs of residents. Supervise social services staff, providing guidance and support in their roles. Manage relationships with residents, families, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive care. Conduct assessments to determine residents’ social service needs and develop appropriate interventions. Oversee budgeting for social services programs to ensure financial sustainability. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance overall resident care. Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements related to social services. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Proven experience in social work or program management within a healthcare setting. Strong supervisory skills with experience managing teams effectively. Excellent relationship management skills to foster positive interactions with residents and families. Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices is a plus. Ability to develop and implement effective programs tailored to resident needs.
