Function:
The Director of Social Services assumes administrative authority and accountability for the provision of medically related social services that assist the residents to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental and psycho-social well-being. Services provided meet professional standards of social work practice, consistent with state and federal laws and regulations.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
The Director of Social Services supervises the Social Workers and guides facility staff in matters of residency advocacy, protection and promotion of resident’s rights. In collaboration with Administrator, allocates resources in an efficient and economic manner to provided medically related social services.: EOE M/F/D/V
