Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Regional Director of Social Services to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the social services department in multiple facilites ensuring that the social and emotional needs of our residents are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement social service policies and procedures. Assess the social and emotional needs of residents and create individualized care plans. Provide counseling and support to residents and their families. Coordinate with healthcare providers and other staff to ensure comprehensive care. Advocate for residents’ rights and needs. Manage and supervise Social Services staff. Maintain accurate and confidential records. Stay updated on best practices and regulations in social services and healthcare.
Required Qualifications:
LICSW is required to apply for this role. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in social services, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting. Strong leadership and management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with elderly or disabled populations in a Skilled Nursing Facility Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to social services and healthcare.
