Join our compassionate and collaborative team as the Assistant Director of Crisis Services, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing crisis intervention services. This position offers the opportunity to lead multiple crisis programs, ensuring accessible, person-centered, and trauma-informed care. You will be instrumental in fostering compliance and quality improvement while building strong relationships with internal teams and community stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate assigned staff to promote a team-based, trauma-informed culture. Ensure programs meet DMH and CARF standards, organizational policies, and state/federal regulations. Support the implementation of the SAMHSA Crisis Continuum of Care while monitoring access, timeliness, and appropriateness of services. Foster positive relationships with law enforcement, healthcare providers, and community partners to improve coordination and system navigation. Ensure accurate and timely collection and reporting of outcome data, participating in program evaluation and quality improvement activities. Facilitate communication and integration between crisis services and other organizational departments. Education, Experience, and/or
Credential Qualifications:
Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related behavioral health field. Minimum two years of supervisory or program leadership experience in a behavioral health crisis setting. Experience working with diverse populations and in collaborative community partnerships.
Additional Qualifications:
Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check. Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.
