Missouri Pay:

$57,000•60,000 annually Job Summary The Child Placing Agency (CPA) Supervisor leads a team who provides screening, training, assessing, and reassessing of foster/adoptive resource providers in competency-based skills who will be able to provide safe, secure homes for youth in Children’s Division custody. The team this supervisor leads also identifies topics relevant to issues foster parents are experiencing, develops and implements training and support plans, and provides consultation and technical assistance to homes serving youth with elevated behavioral and emotional needs. This supervisor also provides direction and oversite of the TFC and aftercare programs and supervises and supports TFC Specialists. This position provides leadership, guidance, and assists in the professional development of staff who are working to fulfill these shared responsibilities.

Education:

A master’s degree in social work, counseling, social work administration, or a related human service degree from an accredited school; or a bachelor’s degree in social work or a related human service degree from an accredited school.

Licensure/Certification:

Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Experience:

Three years (3) of experience in the management or supervision of child placing or residential care personnel and programs for candidates who possess a master’s degree in social work, counseling, social work administration, or a related human services degree from an accredited school; or Five (5) years of experience in the management or supervision of child placing or residential care personnel and programs for candidates who possess a bachelor’s degree in social work or a related human services field from an accredited school.

Preferred Experience/Skills:

Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook email. One (1) year working with children with elevated needs in a treatment setting Crisis triage experience Experience working with children and families in a trauma informed environment
