Job Summary:
Under general direction of the Director of Impact and Engagement and in accordance with the mission of the Ada Jenkins Center, the Director of the Economic Mobility Department will be responsible for the operational success of the Economic Mobility team at the Ada Jenkins Center. Utilizing the EMPath model of mobility mentoring, the Director of Economic Mobility supervises, guides, and coaches the team as they provide case management services, provide coaching for housing, employment/education and financial literacy and work with clients to establish and meet goals for long term economic stability. The Director of Economic Mobility utilizes data from assessments and from other evaluation methods to improve oues for individuals and families pursuing economic stability. The Director participates as a member of the Leadership Team contributing to agency-wide quality improvement and strategic projects.
Job Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or closely related field is preferred. A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or closely related field is required.
Minimum of five years’ experience in human services field, at least two of those years in a team management role is required.
Demonstrated ability to successfully supervise, guide, and coach team members and volunteers.
Demonstrated ability to successfully supervise, guide, and coach team members who work in the field and remotely.
Demonstrated ability to ensure thorough and timelypletion of client records, reports, goal plans, and case notes.
Ability to develop an annual budget and provide oversight of revenue/expenditures to ensure the program operates within the approved budget.
Prepare statistical and performance reports for the department and provide needed documentation for funding sources and audit.
Collaborate with Development Department to review grant proposals and forward funding opportunities as they arise.
Experience with the HMIS platform strongly preferred.
Proficiency using all Microsoft Office applications necessary.
Must have a passion for the work of the Ada Jenkins Center, with a genuinemitment to the fulfillment of the agency’s mission.
Bilingual in Spanish and English, oral and written, is preferred but not required.

Plan for the delivery of service within the Economic Mobility department to ensure that it is aligned with the overall agency strategy and in step with the EMPath model.
Provide leadership around key activities such as intake, assessment, building trust and rapport, service facilitation, referral and resource coordination, goal plan development, interdisciplinary team meetings, and other activities related to general case management.
Develop annual oues and goals for the Economic Mobility Department.

Ensure data and feedback is being collected,piled and utilized to develop programming to the benefits of our clients and staff, to evaluate service area effectiveness in accordance with the strategic plan and mission.

Develop and continually cultivate knowledge related to models of service delivery and advocacy that work to end poverty with individuals and families.
Maintain a knowledge of the principles and practices of case management, as well as strategies of effectivemunication and motivation practices.
Develop and maintain an active development plan for the Economic Mobility Department coaches.
Maintain a strong knowledge of resources and agencies in themunity.
Manage time, take care of equipment, Ada Jenkins Center facility and material goods, work to avoid waste and duplication, and make the best use of Ada Jenkins Center financial resources.

Provide case consultation, guidance and mentoring, which may be individually or team based.
to educate staff on existing and uing areas of improvement and training, and work collaboratively on systemic issues in a positive, solution-focused manner.
Coordinate the provision of support services to avoid duplication, and serves as a liaison between services and other resources as an advocate for clients.
Build and maintain working relationships with local social services agencies, businessanizations, education facilities, and employers to develop opportunities for clients.
Participate in staff meetings, staff trainings, and staff gatherings.
Ad to the ethical standards established and promoted by the Human Services/Social Work (NASW) profession.
