Director of Social Services 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars 53 Walter Street, Ewing, NJ 08628 Director of Social Services Greenwood House Home for the Jewish Aged, a highly respected 137 Bed Skilled-Nursing and Rehab Facility in Ewing, NJ that has served the community for over 70 years is seeking a full-time geriatric social worker with solid experience in both long-term and sub-acute care. Master’s degree in social work and New Jersey LSW or LCSW required. Excellent benefits, salary commensurate with experience.

Key responsibilities include:
Oversee the operations of the Social Services Department Evaluate existing, new and prospective patients based on their needs, desires and limitations. Maintain constant communication with residents while addressing their concerns and goals and helping them keep positive attitudes. Coordinate with PT and OT departments to assist in helping residents feel comfortable and confident. Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and in-house clinical guidelines. Build rapport with residents/patients and their families and relay all concerns to supervisory case manager. Develop care plans for residents and provide therapeutic support as needed.
Candidate qualifications:
