Overview:

Victim services agency is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Survivor Services to lead daily operations at our newly expanded Nassau County office. This position is responsible for the effective delivery and coordination of direct services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, including case management, advocacy, hotline operations, volunteer coordination, and community education.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day program operations at the Nassau County office Supervise hotline supervisor, victim advocates, community educator, and the volunteer coordinator Ensure 24/7 hotline services are fully staffed and meet quality standards Coordinate services to ensure trauma-informed, survivor-centered care Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with community partners and stakeholders Support program reporting, compliance, and evaluation activities Assist with staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field Active NYS LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT license Minimum five (5) years of progressive leadership experience in victim services, human services, or crisis response Strong supervisory and administrative skills Knowledge of trauma-informed care and best practices in domestic violence and sexual assault response Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Up to $99,000.00 per year
