$ 37.01-63.16 USD Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh is hiring a Manager of the Family Care Connection. The Manager will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to Family Care Connection centers and programs of UPMC Children’s Hospital, and to the Hello Baby initiative, which includes partnership with Allegheny County Family Centers. The Manager will be responsible for all aspects of these programs including operational, capital and personnel budgets, budget planning and preparation, and employee performance. The manager will develop programs that enhance services to families and children, coordinate and integrates efforts across centers in collaboration with Allegheny County Department of Human Services and other community-based initiatives, and hospital clinical services. They will initiate, lead, and participate in various collaborations with internal and external multidisciplinary service providers, leaders and management to promote referrals and advocacy for families. The person in this role will enjoy a flexible work environment and a community-orientation with connection to clinical and social service and will work in the Penn Hills/Rankin/Braddock neighborhoods.
Responsibilities:
Oversees all aspects of Family Care Connection and Hello Baby programming including reporting and fiscal responsibilities, operational, capital and personnel budgets.
Leads initiatives that coordinate and integrate efforts at all community sites including early childhood programming, family support services, behavioral health interventions, maternal and infant health, home visiting, and community -based programs.
Liaises with community stakeholders and collaborations as they relate to FCCs and Children’s Hospital and Allegheny County Department of Human Services to enhance, integrate and promote services.
Leads collaborations as these relate to FCC sites and the Allegheny County Family Center Network. Develops and presents reports to key stakeholders that assist in decision making and planning.
Assists with identifying and writing grant applications to generate revenue and support programming.
Works in collaboration with community leaders, county agencies and others to coordinate efforts and reduce duplication of services.
Works with CHP facilities to coordinate projects and facilitate building maintenance.
Collaborates with corporate real estate on acquisitions and lease agreements.
Provides supervision and management of data collection systems to meet the reporting mandates of all funding agencies
Develops job roles to support programmatic growth. Liaisons with parent leaders across sites to elicit input on service, quality and safety standards for all centers.
Qualifications:
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Social Services or related area or equivalent combination of education and experience, including Family Leadership Development credential.
7 years of experience in Management, Community, Hospital, Education, Social Sciences.
Ability to travel daily to various communities.
