Blair County Children, Youth, & Families is looking for a Casework Manager to be part of their administrative team. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this role, you will ensure all programs comply with applicable federal, state, and county laws, regulations, policies, and procedures by providing oversight to agency staff concerning program planning, interpreting overall program objectives, and advising on problems related to the coordination of Children, Youth, and Families services. You will be responsible for administrative and supervisory work assisting the Children & Youth Administrator and Assistant Administrator.
Our team will rely on you to mentor, guide, and teach supervisory and casework staff the skills and techniques of providing protective and supportive services to the children served by our agency, as well as offer encouragement and assist with difficult or complex situations. Your work will also include reviewing data to analyze program effectiveness and recommend changes to enhance operational methods; attending, facilitating, and organizing meetings; and communicating with staff, providers, and families regarding cases or concerns as they arise. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday•Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
Telework:
You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Three years of experience in public or private social work which included one year in a public welfare program and one year in a supervisory capacity; and a bachelor’s degree which includes or is supplemented by 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences.
