Job Duties:

The Family Support Navigation Manager (FSNM) is responsible for the management of Family Support Navigators (FSNs) who provide resource navigation services to families brought to the attention of DSS. The FSNM will be expected to lead key relationships with specific providers, to provide additional support to families in complex cases, and to ensure FSNs have the support they need to succeed. The FSNM will oversee daily operations of the program and provide feedback to Agency leadership on opportunities for program improvement. The FSNM will also be responsible for leading the development and implementation of all assigned upstream prevention initiatives to include Opt-In, community pathways, and other related efforts.
Oversee daily program operations and continuous quality improvement efforts, serving as the main contact for DSS and flagging major operational issues and opportunities to Agency leadership.
Oversee the development, implementation, and programmatic monitoring of the FFPSA community pathway and other assigned prevention initiatives.
Help Family Support Navigators (FSNs) identify resources and strategies to help clients through case consults, making sure FSNs feel supported in this work. Where necessary, provide additional support to FSNs and clients to ensure a client’s needs are met, follow-up contact is made, and feedback has been solicited.
Lead efforts to build and maintain relationships with key referral organizations, ensuring FSNs have the information and contacts needed to complete warm handoffs. Lead efforts to ensure project work is integrated with other programmatic offerings whenever possible to make the program non-stigmatizing, identifying internal collaboration opportunities and ensuing senior leaders are consulted on strategy and continuous quality improvement efforts. Lead project meetings I case consults internally, collaborating to improve program systems and service quality for families. Complete training in motivational interviewing, local service offerings, and other topics to support program impact. Provide trainings to internal and external stakeholders on alternative response strategies to child welfare ensuring families are supported in their communities.

Possess the ability to establish and maintain harmonious relationships with peers and other internal/external stakeholders.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree and four (4) years of experience with program management, service navigation, community engagement, community health work, or other relevant experience.
Master’s Degree and two (2) years of experience with program management, service navigation, community engagement, community health work, or other relevant experience.
Must have a valid Driver’s License. Occasional travel is required throughout the state and regional offices.
Preferred Qualifications
Community Health Worker or related experience is preferred. Additional Comments
