As a Youth Care Specialist for the Enhanced Supervision Program, you will provide supervision of youth who are in need of supervision to prevent them from being in the DSS offices or prevent a placement disruption. A typical day as a Youth Care Specialist will include being available 24/7 as needed to provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and support to ensure the safety and well-being of the youth. This is a Part-Time position. Shifts will be a mix of daytime, evenings, and weekends. What does this position offer?

Starting Pay Range:

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

Minimum of 21 years of age High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree is preferred (based on life experience) 2 years of relevant experience – preferably working with youth within a secure residential facility and/or a behavioral health setting Experience working in an on-call or shift-based setting Proficient in MS Office suite Must have a valid Driver’s License and meet any credentialing, licensing and privileging standards as it pertains to the department you are in. All potential job candidates must pass a drug screening test, and an extensive background check is required.
