Youth Volunteer Coordinator Bake & Serve Inc. 9100 Belvedere Road, West Palm Beach, FL 33411 Job Summary — Volunteer Coordinator (This is a non-paid position) The Volunteer Coordinator is an essential part of Bake & Serve’s leadership team. This person helps recruit, organize, and support our amazing team of student and community volunteers. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and passionate about teamwork and kindness. You’ll help create fun, meaningful volunteer experiences at bake sales, community events, and outreach programs. This is a flexible, student leadership role open to high school or college students looking to grow their skills and make a difference. Duties Recruit and onboard volunteers for Bake & Serve events and programs Schedule volunteers for events (bake sales, donation deliveries, prep days) Maintain a roster of active volunteers and their contact info Track service hours and provide confirmation letters when needed Communicate clearly and regularly with volunteers (text, email, or group chat) Make volunteers feel welcomed, appreciated, and motivated Work closely with the Fundraising and Event Teams to coordinate volunteer needs Organize occasional recognition activities (like Baker of the Month or thank-you notes) Qualifications High school or college student (or recent grad) with a passion for leadership and service Friendly, positive attitude and strong communication skills Reliable and comfortable leading small groups Good at scheduling and staying organized Willing to learn tools like Google Sheets or simple scheduling apps Experience volunteering or organizing events is a bonus (not required!) This is a volunteer leadership position that offers community service hours, leadership experience, and the chance to make a real impact.
