Volunteer Coordinator Society of St. Vincent de Paul SA 282 San Marco Avenue, Saint Augustine, FL 32084 Job Description – Volunteer Coordinator Looking for a self-motivated, energetic person who would be responsible for onboarding and maintaining volunteers.
Duties would include:
Onboarding new volunteers. Coordination the fingerprinting process for new volunteer applicants. Identifying interests of volunteers. Set up training for volunteers. Schedule “Protecting God’s Children” course for new volunteers. Maintain service logs and keep track of all hours. Complete forms for all Community Service Volunteers. Complete paperwork for all Service hours for high school students. Send thank you notes to volunteers on occasion. Keep track of volunteer’s birthdays and send cards. Fill baskets with toiletries and household goods for visits to neighbor’s homes. Complete assistance intake applications over the phone. Assemble toiletry and undergarment bags for neighbors in need. Re-stock fridge with beverages for neighbors. Move snacks from the pantry to the main office for the lunch program. Organize luncheons and celebrations for the conference. Communicate with local churches and businesses for the recruitment of new volunteers.
Skills needed:
High School diploma 2 years work experience Knowledge of Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
