Job Duties:

This position is for individuals ages 18 to 26 who will help expand the stakeholders within the community to increase the circle of the system of care, create awareness about the problems of youth as they transition into adulthood, generate data from youth and families, and serve as a clearinghouse for resources for the specific population in Forsyth, Lumpkin and Hall Counties.

Minimum Qualifications:

Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health or Counseling and one year of full-time (or equivalent part-time) experience in social services delivery.

Preferred Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will hold a Certified Peer Specialist – Youth (CPS-Y) in the state of Georgia Avita has been recognized by the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities as The Provider of the Year and have achieved the highest level of CARF Accreditation since 1999.
