Volunteer Coordinator Position Available In Berkshire, Massachusetts

We’re growing our Living in Recovery Community, and are looking for adynamic, creative leader to take our volunteer and recruitment effortsto the next level.

• As the Volunteer Coordinator, you will:
• Orientnew members to the Living in Recovery Community-helping to make recoverylively, interesting, sustainable, and fun.
• Recruit members to take onleadership roles within the community.
• Train volunteer members in therecovery process, pathways, and types of support.
• Flex your timearound the community’s events and programs, working some evening andweekend hours as part of your regular schedule This role requiresexperience supervising and recruiting volunteers and/or paid staff,familiarity with the local recovery community, strong facilitation andpresentation skills, and the personal confidence gained from being atleast two years in recovery.

In addition to an Associate’s degree in arelated field (preferred), certification as a Recovery Coach would be aplus; otherwise, training will be provided. You also need a validdriver’s license and the ability to drive a large passenger van as partof the program activities.
