The Community Resource Specialist plays a key role in ensuring individuals and caregivers receive timely, accurate information about available services and supports. You will guide people through intake, assessment, and referral processes while maintaining current knowledge of community resources and program guidelines. Key Responsibilities ✅ Provide information and referrals to consumers, caregivers, and professionals seeking services ✅ Build and maintain partnerships with community-based organizations and providers ✅ Support non-English-speaking callers (Spanish fluency preferred) ✅ Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with confidentiality requirements ✅ Keep the internal resource database up to date ✅ Respond to urgent needs by coordinating with emergency response partners ✅ Assist in training and orientation of new Community Options staff ✅ Participate in regular training to maintain and expand knowledge of community resources Qualifications ✅Bachelor’s degree preferred, or Associate’s degree with 2+ years of experience in Human Services or Social Work ✅Bilingual fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred ✅Strong written and verbal communication skills ✅ Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting ✅ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn multiple data systems ✅ Willingness to obtain CRS-A/D certification if not already held ✅Knowledge of elder and disability service systems is helpful, but not required ✅Must pass background checks and have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation Work Schedule ✅ This is a full-time, in-office position ( M-F, 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm, 35 hours per week) ✅ After 6 months of employment, staff may become eligible for a hybrid schedule – Hybrid eligibility is based on work performance and allows for up to 2 remote days per week with no fewer than 3 days in-office Why Work With Us Mission-driven work with real impact Supportive, collaborative team environment Training and professional development opportunities Excellent benefits and paid time off Apply Today!
