This position requires a passionate individual who can effectively engage with diverse groups and foster a positive volunteer experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and be adept at utilizing social media and other platforms to promote volunteer opportunities. Duties Manage all aspects of volunteer recruitment, including outreach efforts on campus and community events. Develop and implement training programs for new volunteers, ensuring they are well-prepared for their roles. Utilize Salesforce to track volunteer engagement, manage schedules, and maintain accurate records. Organize and lead public speaking engagements to promote the organization’s mission and volunteer opportunities. Oversee social media management to enhance visibility of volunteer programs and attract potential volunteers. Collaborate with team members to create a supportive environment for volunteers, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly. Evaluate volunteer performance and provide ongoing support and development opportunities. Experience Proven experience in volunteer management or related fields such as social work or community outreach is preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others. Familiarity with campus recruitment strategies is a plus. Excellent public speaking skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across various platforms. Experience in training development, ensuring volunteers receive comprehensive orientation and ongoing support. Proficiency in social media management to engage potential volunteers effectively.
