Duties, and Responsibilities:

Work 1:1 with a person with developmental disabilities to encourage independence as appropriate throughout daily routines and provide opportunities for people to participate in making choices as appropriate. Engage participation in recreation, social, and skill-building activities as appropriate. Complete documentation electronically as required.

Community Habilitation Specialist Qualifications/Skills:

HS/GED Prior experience working with people with developmental and intellectual disabilities is preferred. Effective oral and written skills in English.
