General Responsibilities:

Responsible for serving as the child preparation and profile specialist for the Permanency Services program.
Maintains a minimum caseload set by the program. (Actual caseload number may vary, at the discretion of the supervisor, based upon geography, number and type of services being delivered, and/or the level of need of those on the caseload.)
Supervises several staff within department.
Conducts home and/or office visits with families, children or other professionals.
Meets with and gathers relevant information from birth families, resource families, other professionals and the children to assist in the development and completion of the child profile.
Completes child profiles, meeting SWAN benchmarks as referred by the referring County agency.

Education/Training:

A bachelor’s degree in social service or a related field of study normally required; a Master’s Degree preferred.

Experience:

A minimum of two (2) year’s related experience normally required.

ADA:

Ability to bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.; visual and auditory skills.
