Job Duties:

The Administrative Specialist II provide administrative support with a moderate level of individual and/or customer accountability.

Receives telephone and personal callers using knowledge to answer questions and refer to appropriate personnel. Maintain log and assignments of state vehicles.

Creates folders for individual cases. Copies and prepares cases for transfer. Research information in CAPSS System.

Prepares and distributes agenda for FCRB meetings.

Employee is expected to perform other duties which are job related, but not customarily or routinely done.

Employee is to participate in trainings and workshops, and participate in Emergency Welfare Services, including Emergency Red Cross Shelters during natural disasters.

Performs Red Cross shelter duty or other emergency shelter duty and services as directed.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES A

High School Diploma and two (2) years of clerical experience.

An Associate Degree or higher maybe substituted for the required work experience. Selected positions may require the ability to type at a corrected rate of 35 words a minute.
