Job Duties:

The Fiscal Technician I performs varied clerical accounting and bookkeeping duties which may include posting, updating, reconciling, routine auditing and preparing summary financial and statistical reports.
Assist with all accounting records for monies coming in the office and all monies appropriated by the county. This includes all County, State and Federal Accounts.
Assist with preparing and maintaining all financial accounting records for the county operations. Also maintains balances of special program funds.
Assist with completing 1402’s for purchases and maintenance contracts and leases.
Assist with reviewing all agency bills from local accounts for appropriated payment and generating appropriated payment to the appropriate vendors and forwards remittance to each vendor. Responsible for Human Services Record Retention.
To ensure that personal identifying information (PII) is properly used, accessed, gathered, shared and disposed. To protect the agency networks and applications by safeguarding systems, equipment and data.
Responsible for ordering office supplies with procurement card and ensuring that adequate amount of supplies and forms are available.
Assist with Food Stamp/SNAP benefit replacements. Performs emergency disaster management services to include American Red Cross sheltering and Disaster SNAP duties; performs other related duties as required.
Performs job delivery and/or performance with positive or appropriate customer service delivery to clients, the public and co-workers as an integral requirement. Minimum and Additional Requirements
A High School Diploma and experience in entry-level accounting and bookkeeping.
