Houseparents Boys Farm, Inc. 6655 SC Highway 34-121, Newberry, SC 29108 We are seeking people who feel called to Christian ministry, helping youth by providing nurturing, family-style care in our residential program. Our beautiful campus is located in Newberry, a charming town with a “movie-set-like” downtown, year-round festivals & activities, and complete with the famous Newberry Opera House and Newberry College. We are centrally located between Greenville, Columbia, Charleston, and Myrtle Beach! Boys Farm has three houses (serving 6-8 boys of the same age range). All cottages have private staff quarters, and there is 24/7 support so you are never on your own! • Attending scheduled meetings and training
• Maintaining a clean and organized home environment
• Supervising daily activities, including meals, homework, and recreational time
• Lead character development and life skills lessons
• Manage the daily routine of the home
• Implementing and enforcing house rules and routines.
• Dispense daily medications and more
• Transport to/from appointments and school
• Collaborating with other staff members to ensure the well-being of the children.
• Communicating effectively with children, parents and colleagues
• Keeping accurate records of daily activities and incidents
