JOB DESCRIPTION
The housing program provides quality, safe, affordable permanent housing options, and accessible services by supporting residents’ recovery, resiliency, and independence. The main goals of the Housing Coordinator are to grow the housing department, provide oversight of housing staff, and keep the houses running smoothly at all times.
CLIENT MANAGEMENT
You will be required to cover unfilled shifts in supported living homes. Provide crisis intervention when necessary. Random drug testing of residents. Communicate regularly and effectively with clients, service providers, and housing staff. Accompany residents on off-site activities, including appointments as needed. Organize regular client workshops/support groups.
STAFF RESPONSIBILITIES
Be professional in representing the Center of Hope for Behavioral Health while in meetings throughout the greater community. Monitoring the houses for issues that may arise and provide the first level of supervision and support for the homes. Conduct interviews and hire personnel. Provide administrative oversight and conduct evaluations of staff performance.
DEVELOPMENT
Meet monthly outreach and case management service goals. Identify, manage, and develop referral sources. Maintain regular contact with community partners and address any issues or concerns promptly. Facilitate all aspects of the screening and application process. This includes maintaining and administering the waitlist.
COMPLIANCE
Complying with agency policy and procedures, maintaining all required documentation, including reporting for grants and insurance. Ensure that staff notes are accurately entered into the electronic health record system within 24 hours of service contact, and maintain detailed client data and case notes within the same timeframe. Report all repairs as needed in the house immediately.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time salaried position. Work is primarily conducted in a home environment, with intermittent periods of sitting, standing, walking, and some light physical activity, as well as time spent in the office. Most tasks involve direct interaction with clients, utilizing a computer and phone. Occasionally, car travel is required, so candidates must be able to operate a personal vehicle. This position includes supervisory responsibilities over staff and volunteers. Overtime is available, and any requests for time off must be made two weeks in advance. Physical Demands The physical requirements outlined below are necessary for an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. While carrying out these duties, the employee must regularly engage in activities such as talking, listening, standing, walking, and reaching with their hands and arms. Additionally, the employee may need to lift and/or move objects weighing 10 to 25 pounds. Travel Travel is primarily local during the business day. As the housing program grows, travel will extend to surrounding counties.
