$26.4K – $32.7K a year 1 day ago Qualifications Mid-level Cheerleading Full Job Description The Volunteer Cheer Director is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the cheerleading program within the organization. This individual will oversee planning, coordination and execution of cheer activities, ensuring a fun, safe and developmentally environment that aligns with the organization’s mission of serving youth athletes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
LEADERSHIP
AND MANAGEMENT
Oversee all aspects of the cheerleading program after year one (1), including recruitment, retention, and development of student-athletes.
TRAINING AND COACHING
Provide guidance and instruction on proper technique, safety and team dynamics.
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
Manage budget, fundraising and ensure responsible use of programs resources.
STAFF SUPERVISION
Hire head coaches, ensuring they are qualified and adhere to program standards.
SAFETY:
Ensure all safety protocols and policies are followed and adhered to by all coaches and athletes.
COMMUNICATION
Maintain effective communication with the board, staff, parents, and cheerleaders.
