Certified Addiction Counselor
CIT, RSW, CSW
Integrity Behavioral Management 5610 Read Boulevard, New Orleans, LA 70127 Addiction Counselor to provide group and individual therapy for people with addiction. The ideal candidate must be compassionate and caring. Must be adept in electronic health records systems. Primary Objectives Provide treatment plans and basic consultation, Utilize the 12-step recovery process, with clients and providing information and referrals as needed Engage in ongoing assessment of the client’s on going needs and response to treatment, remaining sensitive to individual differences, which include racial, cultural, psychosocial, economic, age-related and gender variations Promote a company culture that emphasizes collaboration, quality, continuous improvement, and high performance Education Degree in social work, counseling, or related counseling field from an accredited university and previous experience or training in the field of clinical dependency Experience A minimum of one (1) years experience in Addiction/Substance Abuse counseling in a mental health care facility, or a related field Must have direct experience in group therapies and treatment planning License RSW, CIT or related license preferred Must be registered with your board of examiners or with ADRA Must reflect those characteristics and professional standards set forth in the
