JOB TITLE
Certified Counselor
REPORTS TO
Clinical Director
SUMMARY OF POSITION
Work with a team in our ATS/CSS comprised of medical professionals, clinicians and case managers to provide support, counseling and community referrals to individuals with substance use and co-occurring disorders. This will include facilitating individual and group counseling sessions and providing aftercare case management planning services.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct bio-psychosocial assessment Complete intake paperwork familiarity with
MA DPH EIM/ESM
preferred Facilitating psycho-education groups Use of MI based counseling Knowledge of the 12 Steps of Recovery Formulate treatment plan and provide timely documentation Attend weekly treatment team supervision & biweekly individual supervision Provide crisis intervention when necessary
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s, CADC, LADC I or II Knowledge of the ASAM criteria Experience with utilization review for insurance payment Must have effective speaking and writing skills Three years in the field of alcoholism and substance abuse Familiarity with Clinic Management Software a Plus Basic Computer Skills (MS Office) and the Desire/Ability to Learn New Software

seeking part-time multiple counselors for the following days (flexible): MONDAYS 8am-4:30pm FRIDAYS 8am-4:30pm
SATURDAYS
8am-4:30pm SUNDAYS 8am-4:30pm
