ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Provides individual and group therapy
Ensures all documentation regarding patient care, treatment, and incidents ispleted timely and in a clear and concise manner
Provides crisis intervention to patients
Assists with aftercare planning

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree in social or health related Field required and 6+ years’ experience in counseling field required OR Bachelor’s degree in other field required and 8+ years’ experience in the counseling field required OR Master’s degree in social or health services field required and 4+ more years’ experience in the counseling field.
At least two years clinical experience specifically with chemically dependent / dually diagnosed population Licensure or certification for counseling, as required by the state in which the facility operates.
Completion of ongoing education and training, as required by the state in which the facility operates and applicable accrediting body.
Crisis Prevention/De-escalation training and CPR & First Aid (offered onsite). Knowledge of 12-step recovery programs.
Ability to work well with male and female adult (18+) patients with Chemical dependency and Mental Health disorders
CPR and CPI certification (training offered onsite)
Teamwork and excellent customer service
