• Paid Time Off (PTO) Responsibilities Substance Abuse Comprehensive Outpatient Treatment (SACOT) counselor facilitates individual sessions, structured group sessions, and family group addiction counseling activities and services on an outpatient basis.

SACOT is designed to assist adults with recovery and learn skills for recovery maintenance. The program counselor assists the SACOT participants by providing individual and group counseling, case management, and life skills education. SACOT group must be offered at least 4 hours a day, at least 5 days a week, with no more than 2 consecutive days between offered services. S&H Youth and Adult Services, Inc. SACOT counselors offer group Monday – Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00PM or 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Qualifications

• High School Diploma and/or equivalent with 1 year of Substance Abuse treatment experience; or North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board Registrant
• Must be 18 years of age or older with the ability to read, write and understand how to follow instructions.
• May not have any substantiated findings of abuse or neglect listed on the North Carolina Health Care Personnel Registry
• No Sex Offender Charges and no violent criminal charges
• One year of supervised substance abuse counseling experience preferred We are looking forward to receiving your application.

We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $18.00 – $24.00/hour.
