Job Summary:
The Licensed Clinical Therapist is responsible for providing comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and overall evaluation of individuals in the Rockingham County Drug Program. The Clinical Therapist will be expected to deliver the highest quality of professional services and information outcomes in support of treatment court principles and Rockingham County Recovery Court strategic mission and goals. The clinician conducts a substance use disorder screening and risk assessment (ORAS) of the applicant for entry into the Program. Additional responsibilities include assesses a participant to determine the appropriate level of treatment to offer the participant; facilitates intensive outpatient treatment, other substance abuse groups, and individual therapy. The clinician provides recommendations to substance-abuse and mental health services not provided directly through the Program such as inpatient treatment, partial hospitalization, psychopharmacological evaluation, psychological evaluation, and Medication-Assisted Treatment. The clinician provides to a multidisciplinary team information and updates regarding a participant’s substance use treatment needs, mental health concerns, and adherence to treatment.
Requirements Basic Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in psychology, social work, human services or related counseling field.
Licensed in the State of New Hampshire – LICSW, LCMHC, MLADC.
US Citizenship or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
Computer knowledge like Microsoft Office and Excel, EMR.
Current New Hampshire driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s preferred in psychology, social work, human services or related counseling field.
Resourcefulness, flexibility, integrity, dependability, and attention to detail.
Other work experience may be substituted for part of this requirement upon review by the Director of Clinical Services. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to provide clinically sound treatment services based on client needs and treatment plans.
Demonstrated understanding of diagnostic evaluation methods, mental status exams, and use of the DSM-5.
Knowledge of 12 core functions.
Ability to respond to a range of clients’ needs using differential diagnoses and treatment approaches.
Ability to provide appropriate crisis intervention services.
Ability to maintain clinical records in timely compliance with agency policies and procedures.
Ability to work collaboratively with other community agencies on behalf of clients and/or the agency.
Demonstrated understanding of sound ethical practice in conjunction with the established and defined ethics of one’s training and discipline.
Ability to effectively organize time and responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To provide a variety of treatment services including individual, group, family, and marital therapy.
To provide clinical services such as intake/diagnostic evaluations, case evaluations, crisis intervention.
To participate in liaison work with other agencies as required.
To participate as a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team.
To participate in regularly scheduled clinical supervision.
To maintain clinical records in accordance with insurance regulations and established clinic policies and procedures.
To comply with clinical productivity standards as established by Keystone Hall
To participate in weekly treatment team/staff meetings.
To perform other duties as assigned.
