⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Drug & Alcohol Counselor Second Start knight near hutchins compensation: Competitive Salary commensurate with Experience employment type: experience level: mid level job title: Student Assistance Program Counselor Student Assistance Program (SAP) Counselor We have multiple positions available for the 2025-2026 school-year. 40 hours, 5 days per week for a Student Assistance Program (SAP) Counselor at the middle school level. These multi-faceted positions provide an opportunity to lead individual and group counseling sessions for at risk students, facilitate classroom discussions around substance misuse prevention, and initiate school and community wide prevention messaging for students, staff, and parents. Potential candidates should demonstrate enthusiasm for working with youth and families and thrive in a team-oriented environment. Experience in substance misuse and mental health services is preferred. Extensive training and supervision will be provided. Graduate students looking for internships are welcome to apply.
