Clinician 2.9 2.9 out of 5 stars 326 Rochester Hill Road, Rochester, NH 03867 Hope on Haven Hill a substance use treatment facility in Rochester, NH, is seeking a Lead Clinician to join its team.
Duties include:
providing individual, group and family counseling to clients in any/all HHH programs (residential, IOP, OP, etc.) with an emphasis on providing Trauma-Informed Care and Gender Responsive Treatment. The Licensed Senior Clinician is directly supervised by the Clinical Director and will assist in the day-to-day operations and management.
Major Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and training provisions of all clinical records and programs offered. Provide one-on-one counseling with clients using Evidence Based Practices. Facilitate/lead therapeutic group sessions. Ability to create curriculum for use in group sessions. Collaborate with other agencies to ensure access to resources for clients. Screen, train, and supervise existing and new staff to develop and build an effective program. Assist in the training of new employees in the Staff Code of Ethics and confidentiality policies. Retain working relationships with organizations, service providers, and other agencies. Leads Case Review Meetings in absence of CD and CPC. Promotes and maintains an atmosphere which encourages and facilitates a client review process to ensure coordinated, comprehensive, and individualized provision of client services. Supports, grows, and supervises the Internship Program. Maintain a high level of professional and ethical standards. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Reports to Clinical Director on program development, fiscal budgetary status, and proposed operational changes as required. Will participate in on call rotation every few weeks. Any other duties as assigned.
Minimum Position Requirements:
Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (LADC); Master Licensure as an Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (MLADC); LICSW or LCMHC (with Master’s Degree). Independent worker and self-starter. Minimum of three years of experience working with alcohol and/or drug addicted individuals and/or in the field of substance abuse counseling. Experience with diverse client population such as cultural and/or religious minorities, co-occurring disorders and indigent socio-economically disadvantaged clients Significant experience and familiarity with Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) in conjunction with treatment programs and with 12-step philosophy as well as other non-traditional self-help treatment programs Knowledge of 12 core functions Knowledge of Evidence Based Practices (EBP), Addiction Severity Index (ASI), and ASAM Criteria. Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively and timely. Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully; excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent written, verbal, and computer skills. Ability to multi-task efficiently. Demonstrated proficiency in excellent customer service. Ability to provide input on the creation of new systems and efficiencies. Able to maintain confidential information. If in recovery, provide evidence of personal stability as well as adhering to all HHH policies and procedures as it relates to recovery. Confidentiality and knowledge of 42 C.F.R. Part 2 and HIPAA.
