out of 5 stars 428 West Main Street, Catskill, NY 12414 Twin County Recovery Services, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Counselor for our Clinic in Greene County. TCRS works as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing clinical treatment services to those persons referred for an evaluation and/or treatment. All Counselors are expected to adhere to all Federal and State guidelines pertaining to confidentiality. They are also expected to model healthy behavior to those persons with whom they work. Certification/Schooling CASAC-T or CASAC certification is required as is a High School Diploma/GED.

Job Duties:

Intake, assessment & diagnostic impression Crisis intervention Treatment Planning Case management & care coordination Psycho-education Reporting & record-keeping Maintain a caseload as assigned Facilitate group and individual counseling Provide education regarding chemical dependency to their patients Provide appropriate referrals and supports to patients Maintain accurate and timely records according to regulations Provide a safe and respectful environment for patients and fellow workers Assist patients in developing treatment plans and discharge plans Maintain a professional relationship with referral sources Attend Agency and/or Clinic meetings as assigned Maintain their own educational license and/or credential Abide by the
